I was a biochem major who switched to health (with a concentration in health care administration) for my senior year. I am currently a public health graduate student focusing on epidemiology. I work as a quality/data analyst in Neonatology at a large regional teaching hospital.
I was a biology major in college. Now I’m a primary care physician.
For the people who answered this, welcome to the world of being plagued with general health questions and many of the “is this rash normal?” questions mwahaha
@LeotCol: Oh, no. That would be for the dermatologists of the world… :)
I majored in Chemistry in college, got a PhD in Immunology and an MD, followed by an Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship. To say I’ve been a student for a long time is an understatement.
I was pre-medicine in college and majored in Biology. I then received my Masters in Public health and now I work as a patient navigator for the American Cancer Society.
I’m getting a degree in communication disorders which after grad school leads to a career in speech language pathology or audioology.
i’m at college for nursing right now. :)
I’m currently majoring in Health Studies-Pre-Nursing (stupid title, but it’s what my degree is called before getting into the official nursing program.) It’ll be an AAS if I stick with it, I’m not sure if it’s just a AS if I get into the nursing program. (aas=associate in applied science
oh that’s great! I have seriously thought about becoming an RN. I recently just switched my major at a 4 year college from physical education with a minor in health to a sport and leisure management with a health concentration. I plan on going to graduate school once I graduate in the Fall ‘10
i’m planning on becoming a nurse practitionner but only time will tell if i have enough patience to go through that much school!
