Try to drink more water, and use moisturizer daily. If the problem persists, consult a physician.

cut back on the caffine .Cafine dehydates you and your skin also.
Drink more water.Cut back on the time spent in shower/bath)
Try Neutrogena lotions (hand cream and their new product soothing wrap) They work great on dry skin.

Moisturize your skin as soon as you get out of the shower or tub. That will seal in the moisture better.

More water. Omega fatty acid supplements. Don’t use moisturizers that contain mineral oil, petroleum, alcohol, silicones, or difficult to pronounce words at the end of the ingredient list. Also avoid hot showers and soaps with the ingredients mentioned above and sulfates. Sounds like a lot, but it’s worth it IMO

get some aquaphor.

its a lotion thats basically 50% petroleum (Vaseline) and then skin protective ointment.
the Vaseline makes it so your skin does not absorb it all right away. i used to be the same way when i took accutane. it works miracles haha.

I like extra-virgin coconut oil. It does good outside (by rubbing it on dry hands) as well as internal (by eating it). Works wonders for me.

@laureth GA! It’s not greasy and soaks right in. You smell smell like a coconut for a little while though

@J0E actually, continually washing your hands may seem like a good way to keep your skin nice and hydrated, but the constant heat then rubbing it on a towel DRIES it out…
@kayyyyleigh drink lots and lots of water! use lotion every night and morning when you wake up, and keep lotion handy in your locker or gym bag. keep skin covered (gloves, scarves) and wear makeup that has built-in moisturizer already in it. good luck!

After bathing or showering I put baby oil on my skin and then towel off. Just make sure you don’t have any oily residue in your tub or shower floor before you take your next one.

1. Lotion
2. Drink more water
3. Make sure you get enough EFA’s.
