Now now, you should do your own homework.

i just figured that there would be some people on here who would be very active or well informed on the debate over net neutrality.

What is net neutrality? If you can explain it to me in four sentences, you have your first paragraph. And, no, I really don’t understand the term.

net neutrality is the idea that internet providers do not have the right to block certain web page or charge extra to get to them.

A good start but use upper case in Net at beginning of sentence. I would ask what you mean by “certain web pages.” Be more specific. And “to access them” is less awkward than “to get to them.” You’re on your way, though.

G’day Whothei0,

Thank you for your question.

John Palfrey, a Harvard Law professor has recommended two books on his blog. link

Virtual Freedom: Net Neutrality and Free Speech in the Internet Age by Dawn Nunziato

Future of the Internet — and How to Stop it by Jonathan Zittrain. The latter is free for download.

You might want to google Mike Godwin (known primarily for “Godwin’s Law”, but someone who has been involved with these issues from a legal standpoint for a very long time.) Mike also has a FB page, but I don’t know if it’s public.
