Love, sex, Tango, yoga, beautiful children – that’s how…that and a touch of anti-depressants, self-deprecating humor and amazing friends.
You just do it. Paste a smile on your face if you have to, and otherwise ask for some help. And there is always a glass of good wine and a good book for ½ hour before sleep.
I have an inbox, and I write down everything in a notebook and eventually it all makes it into the inbox, where I sort and process it. I have a single calendar that I would probably be all messed up without.
Also, when I don’t need to do anything, I get really into relaxing. I used to do yoga, and I should start again.

By not worrying about anything. That is how I manage. What is IS and what will be WILL BE. I just smile and keep moving ahead.
You simply take one thing at a time… making sure that you set your priorities .
MY priorities are my family and my dog , then my friends etc… to spend time with…. appears to be working out very well .
By planning it. I make a schedule of all the things I need to get done and try as hard as I can to follow through. The more organized you are, the easier it is to complete your tasks. When I don’t have anything to do: sleep.
I don’t have a life so there is nothing really to manage :3
I really just try to get through the week, but I like @Simone_De_Beauvoir‘s methods
She always has the best advice
@Facade hey, I know you’ve got love sex and yoga going on..and you don’t want kids so that’s out…all you gotta do is start dancin’
@Facade Right now I just have yoga sigh. The rest is soon to come! I hope So, tango you say? Hmm…
@Facade oh yes, Argentine Tango, to be more specific
I’ll add it to my to-do list =)
I submerge myself into video games, typically the ones where I am the evil warlord that runs around and kills the innocent house-husband because he can’t seem to connect that dirty dishes need to go into the sink and not on the end table where he sits. I also play Sims and lock the people away in rooms and put a bunch of trashcans beside the fire place… lol, that’s what keeps me sane and off over the counter drugs! :)
Every morning when I wake up, I ask myself how I can this day another good day. I have a lot of help from my partner/husband in the details.
Haha good question…I don’t.
Its a 50/50 over here – I manage my life just the way my life is managing me!! (”,) We are in a real good relationship I should say…..
Some days I do, some days I don’t manage at all. A very wise nurse once told me after my breakdown to “fight the battles I can win” and I try to do that mostly, with the help of a loving hubby, hugs from my two doggies and some anti depressants.
hugs all xx
I roll up my sleeves and get busy. He who hesitates is lost.
Classify my activities as follows:
1) urgent & important -> focus and do your best
2) not urgent & important -> store in your personal log (which you check regularly)
3) urgent & not important -> be pragmatic, i.e. 20% of your time gets you 80% results already
4) not urgent & not important -> ignore
I don’t try to manage life at all (to the chagrin of my wife).
My wife never rests.
She says it’s because there are “things that need to be done”.
Observation.
In my entire fifty-two years of living
there has never been a day that in which
something didn’t “need” to be done.
So if I spend my entire life getting things done.
and I drop dead in the process
there will still remain something
that “needs” to be done.
