How long does it take to learn PHP & MySQL?

I’ll look it up, but how long exactly will it take me to get a general understanding of the languages?
Have you ever programmed before? It depends on how much you already know and how fast you learn generally and how quick you are with computers. Not to mention how dedicated you are to studying this book. Hard to say. What’s the deadline about?
I have a pretty good knowledge of programming, I know C++ quite well and I also know a bit of Java. And I’m looking forward to learning Php/MySql, so I’ll be pretty dedicated.
@Justa In that case I think you could learn PHP/MySql in a day or two. Really. That’s how simple it is. Do you have a job interview or something?
No, I’m just looking forward to learning how to make my game multiplayer-online, and it looks like Php & mysql is my best bet. Thanks for the help, man!
Depends on how many other languages you already know and your experience with them.
