You’ll forget her soon enough. That’s another funny thing about life.
keep her in your sweetest memory, wish her well..life will go on for all, just be positive..this is life…we’ll all be a memory someday then why not make it a fond one..??
thanks guys i hope i get over it soon
Because life would be boring and deprived of excitement if everything was kept constant without change. You just have to realise for every change that you don’t like there will be another you do like.
This really helps me thank you, you all are great people
yes it does, so make the most of the now while you can ;)
Impermanence. It’s the only thing that’s certain little grasshopper.
thats why pee is a different colour than cum… so you can tell if you’re cummin or goin ;-)
Maybe you will like the new teacher even more? We have to see changes as oppertunities to get to know new of everything. Good luck!
Because everything changes with time.
Dont have your dog stuffed – is the metaphor from Alan Aldas book with the same name.
If you have your pet dog stuffed when it dies, you’ll just have that dead, stuffed, ceramic-eyed statue left of your dog. If you just let it go you keep the good memories.
The same applies here, change comes unrelentlessly, best you can do is accept it and cherish the memories.
You’ll be fine sweetheart, honest. Make sure that you say goodbye, maybe make her a card or something to show how much she’s meant to you, then look forward to getting to know your new teacher who will be just as wonderful I’m sure. Take care of yourself, and welcome to fluther :-)
hugs xx
On the upside, the crappy stuff goes too. It all balances out in the long run. It only becomes a problem when you get caught up in the game of trying to hang onto the good stuff and push the crappy stuff away.
People come in to our lives because we have something to share. Something to teach or something to learn (etc.). Once we have accomplished those things, they move on but not before opening the door. No door closes without another one opening. Are you watching?
@The_Anonymous_Witch I had never heard that one before. Anyone else read that while having their dinner and regret having read that?
