Asked by airowDee (1791points) December 15th, 2009

I have a good idea that should be turned into a film, who do i tell?

it will probably turn into nothing, but i don’t want anyone taking credit of my super idea…i could be a millionaire…probably not.

“i could be a millionaire…probably not.”

First thing is to be positive.

Ideas are a dime a dozen. I’m afraid that yours is worth nothing unless you are willing to pursue it by developing a script and then attempting to sell it to a filmmaker.

Pitch Your Movie Ideas To The World.
Have you ever had an idea for a movie that you would love to see on the silver screen but don’t know how to write a movie script? Have you ever watched a movie but thought you could have come up with a better ending?
Make’n Movies is the first service in the world that offers people with ideas for movies the chance to share them with the public, determine their popularity and get movie makers and Hollywood studios to take notice. You only need to write 300–500 words of your movie idea and post it on the movie database with MakenMovies and you’re ready to be discovered!

Googled this site and maybe it will be helpful!

Step one: Write a script.

Yes, you really need to write a screenplay, and it should follow this super-basic set-up:.

(Act 1) Your main character’s original ordinary existence changes, based on a out-of-the-ordinary situation, and

(Act 2) s/he must take actions that

(Act 3) profoundly changes her/him, and

there is a different existence for her/him by the end of the picture.

That’s what people pay to see.

Movie ideas get about $5,000.
Scripts run about $40,000.
Anyway, that’s how it used to be.
