Who here has had their Gall Bladder removed?

I recently had mine removed and I’m curious how others have coped without a gall bladder.

I haven’t noticed much of a difference. If I eat something extremely high in fat I will feel a little queasy for a while, but that’s about it.

I had mine removed about 9 years ago. Piece of cake.

I lost mine in 1967, it got me out of the Vietnam War, and I haven’t noticed any other consequences.

Mine was removed in 1989… Almost died on the operating table .. was a wake up call to shed some POUNDS .

I had mine removed exactly one week to the day of giving birth in 2000. Since then, my symptoms have decreased; specifically IBS(irratable bowel syndrome). At the begining it was awful, it’s leveled off the last few years. But when it comes back, it comes back with a bang!

I haven’t but my mother and sister both have had their gall bladders removed. It didn’t seem to affect them at all, except they were no longer in pain lol
