What are some cool christmas present ideas? I just gave everyone on my list a voucher for the norwegian cruise line… they book, I get the bill. It doesn’t have a personal touch though.

Definitely no personal touch. You showed no sincerity in giving gifts this way. Try other approach.
G’day Tomfafa,
Thank you for your question.
Personally, I think that is a creative idea. However, something homemade or individual is always good.
However, the ultimate aim is to get them something they want.
Regards
Hello Keith… good to see ya!
.
However… stop saying thank you all the time! I am a new yorker and this make me nervous.
Cruise? Well is sounds like you have a very large budget. Maybe you can get everyone those wireless charger mats (Powermat). Looks very cool .
How do I get on your list? :-)
Donating blood in their name would be nice. Never know when surgery will be needed.
@PandoraBoxx… donating blood for 40 people is beyond me… but I donate every few months anyway.
Yes, blood for 40 would be a little difficult to manage. Is there a list prioritization, or are all 40 people equally important?
What do you find meaningful as a gift? The gifts I value the most are a letter from my daughter telling me why I’m important to her, and my other daughter spending time with me, with her phone turned off. It was lovely.
@PandoraBoxx The only prioritization of the list is me at the very end of the list… I love my friends. I have no children, so in a way I envy the relationship you have with your daughter! But I am blessed with the greatest parents in the world!

As for the gifts… one year I gave a bunch of wellendorff rings from the chocolate collection… all spinning. Another time it was spa weekends… Disney trips… and so on.
What a charmingly interesting conundrum this is! Far harder than I would have thought…
A conundrum?... How can that be charming… or interesting… what is a conundrum? I think I am a charmingly interesting conundrum! Yes I am… I just checked the mirror and looking back at me was a charmingly interesting conundrum…. did you get that from bugs bunny… when he gives that monster a manicure? That bugs just kills me! Oh and marvin martian also… what was the question?
If we’re quoting Bugs Bunny, “Don’t be a Maroon.”
Yes, a charmingly interesting conundrum. Coming up with an idea for a creative gift where cost is seemingly not a barrier but buying in quantity is a constraint, then more difficult than it would seem. As I’ve been knitting, I’ve been running through a whole litany of possibilities. It’s been rather like trying to guess Rumplestiltskins’ name. The Wellendorff rings are exquisite; that was an excellent gift. It sets an interesting benchmark. Makes Oprahesque items like barbecues and televisions seem pedestrian. The gift of adventure and travel is accounted for with the cruise voucher.
Ron Chilhuly glass? The “gift for 40” constraint is a barrier, as it is a Chagall stone lithograph. That leaves Hasselblad cameras, bicycles or a watch. Meh.
Me? I’m giving iSi whipped cream makers, solar-powered/crank powered emergency radios, and bourbon.
Oh!!! You understand me so well! You busy friday night?
.
BTW… I have cases of wine sent to my friends everytime I go to france.
White burgundy, by any chance? Sigh. I suspect I’m too old for you. Unless you’re enquiring about my gift wrapping prowess…
I am excited by your mental prowess! I just love to flirt… Please take it in that spirit.

I just love the Bourgogny region in france…
