Can’t remember. I don’t know if I was ever shocked at all.
When Barack Obama was elected the 1st black President of the united States.
The never I thought I’d live to see the day that someone who looked like me would be elected President.
When Michael Jackson died. I mean he was a weirdo and who knows what exactly he did on his free time, but I didn’t expect it to happen just like that.
just two minutes ago…spent an hour wording a question for Fluther and it is not a question…asking for suggestions from the Fluther’s mods!
Nothing has managed to shock me since I first saw goatse maybe three years ago.
@erichw1504: That’s right! Michael’s death was so unexpected.
About a month ago, a senior at my old high school committed suicide by hanging himself at the school’s tennis courts in the middle of the night. That was pretty shocking for the whole town.
A week later an incident occurred with a softball player I went to school with. She moved across the country to coach an all-star softball team and 3 of her players somehow drove off the road, into a lake and drowned. There was no alcohol or drugs in any of their systems so it’s a mystery on how they managed to lose control of the vehicle.
it was one mispelled word…i’m learning…
When my ex-wife filed for divorce.
When the previously mentioned nephew actually passed his written test for learner’s permit.
Hollywood. 1985.
In the middle of taping a SitCom. Half the crew was dragged off the set due to a drug sting.
Side note:
Back then, if coke disappeared off the face of the earth. Most TV would have gone off the air for a month or so. :-)
When I first heard that a 21 year old woman would give head to 50 year old William Jefferson Clinton. I twisted my head like a confused dog.
@erichw1504 Ugh, yes. Hatchet vs. Genitals was another terrifying experience.
