Silly question: can this copper bottomed tea kettle be saved?

I was making tea tonight, and after pouring out the hot water, I got distracted by something else and forgot to turn off the burner (I still can’t believe I did something that dumb). So most of the copper on the bottom of the kettle was burned off. Can I still use this tea pot, or will I have to replace it?
