Don’t see why not. Age doesn’t matter up to a point!
Take Ronnie Wood and russian bimbo Ekaterina Ivanova. Disaster!
I’d have no problem with dating an older person, providing it was the right person.
Yes, and I have, but the oldest I dated was like 6 years older than me. Nothing crazy.
I don’t think age is that important, what’s more important is maturity and other things I look for in a partner.
I’ve had a relationship with an older person (23 days, nothing like @MissAnthrope)
I think that usually age wouldn’t matter, I mean, its love right?
Age doesn’t matter to me. My partner and I have a 9 year age difference. We get along just fine.
I wouldn’t date someone 15 years+ older than me. Just wouldn’t feel right.
It would depend on how much older he was. Ten years older would be the max for me.
I only date older women, that is…women older than my age, I can’t find someone my age with the same maturity level. And yes I have an age limit, everyone does and age is not just a number, no matter what people say.
There is quite a large age difference between my partner and I and it’s not even an issue apart from maybe the odd “old age pensioner” joke I throw at him from time to time!!!
By the way, my SO is not an old age pensioner!!!
I would probably see someone four or five years older than me if we clicked. I’m 20 so any older than that, I think we would be at completely different points in our lives, although you never know! :)
I have, and I would do it again. But even I have limits. I probably would date anybody old enough to be my grandad.
Yeah, I would; but no one over 40. I swing 5 years either way, any older or younger than that and I won’t do it…
Yes, and I have. She was ten years old than me. The relationship lasted ten years, as well. We’re still good friends.
It all depends on the person.
there is an “older” person in every relationship.
I did, and if going out with my wife is considered dating, then not only would I, but I plan on having several thousand more dates with that older person. ;)
@lonelydragon
Did you intend to say, “I probably wouldn’t date anybody old enough to be my grandad.”?
i married an older woman.
i would definitely date someone older. more experienced, more mature, more stable.. perfect!
All my boyfriends have been older than me. I am with someone now who is 13 years older than me.
I am 45.
The older they get, them more money they better have. :-)
I’ve always dated older men. Actually my mother once told me she always saw me being with someone that was older, rather than someone my age.
I prefer older men and all of my boyfriends have been at least two years older than me. I don’t see anything wrong with it. Age doesn’t bother me.
My ex husband was a year older than me and an ex bf was 4yrs older so yes, I can do it but age isn’t high on the list of what is compatible and desireable to me. Experiences, commonalities/interests, passions, goals, values… those things make or break my interest in someone or give them up to consideration if they’re presenting to me.
I think in some cases age really does matter. (Ex. if your 15 going with a 21 yr. old) but other than that i know that most people like older people because they say they are more wise, and not childish like some people are…....But as long as you love each other…what da heck! right?
I dated someone that was 16 years younger then me.
It has it ups and its downs.
What I found most important is in order to hang on to someone that young, you will have to deny them life lessons.
I could not do that.
For guys age does matter. Remember girls mature faster than guys and if that is the case then you can imagine what would happen when the couple reaches in their old age. The womans body would not be as fit anymore…that could lead to problems.
Maybe up to 8 years older, but men are really looking older these days.
I did when I was a kid. Older women had bigger knockers. But now that I’m old and crotchety, knockers much younger than me are looking pretty good too.
