How do you react when a drive through messes up your order?
We have a Taco-Bell close to where I work and they can never get the order right. I don’t know why we still go there. Do you have a restaurant close to you that does this also?

Argh Taco Bell by a mile. McDonald’s is a close second (although it depends on which store we order from).
Tim Horton’s (coffee shop)
Wendy’s I hate Wendy’s every time some one says “I want Wendy’s’ I cringe its dirty they have nothing but pot heads working there and they never get anything right I hate that place
No it’s the one area of my life which I refrain from self deprivation but I have an abundance of choices and so I exercise them all.
None of the places I eat has a drive thru, but I’m guessing you could ask them to fix any mistakes, right?
They all seem to do that here. One of the reasons we don’t use them. It’s just not worth it. If we get carryout, we go inside the restaurant and get our food… making sure we get what we ordered.
its not that serious everyone makes mistakes if your in the drive through i always pull up but i never actually leave the place until i check my bag because you never want to go home thinking you have all your stuff and you really dont.
I just don’t have tremendously high expectations from minimum wage workers. Let’s face it, there aren’t a whole lot of Mensa members working there.
They get paid the same whether they get your order correct or not, so there isn’t a whole lot of built-in incentive for accuracy.
However, if I have to take the time to go back through the line just to get what I originally ordered, I figure they can pay with their time and extra effort.
I always make certain to ask for the manager with my complaint. And then I insist that they re-cook my entire order since it has now gotten cold after all this time passed. They make extra work for me and I return the favor :D
Well, it’s just my opinion, but unless they actually miss a whole item, I really don’t care. I’m not an ungrateful bastard. I stopped buying a co worker food when I go because he is so picky it makes me sick how ungrateful he is.
@Blackberry They do miss items. I don’t go there very often but sometimes my friends want to go. The bad part is when you do complain they act like you are trying to scam them for a freebie. I guess customer service is a thing of the past. I have a co-worker like that also. We learned to NOT tell her if we were going out.
@baileysmom12 Yeah, another reason why I cut back on fast food besides the health reasons. I stopped completely for a year and a half, but started again. I blame teens lol, they’re always so non-chalant with their jobs.
When I see a starry-eyed teen that is all motivated and makes sure my order is right, I’m baffled. But yeah, other than not giving me something I paid for, I don’t care if they put too much mayo on it etc, I’m just glad and appreciate that I have the food, while other people on the same planet, thousands of miles away, and even maybe a few miles away, haven’t eaten at all.
