Sometimes people say “That tastes good, what is it called?” But I don’t have names for my food.

I usually call mine, just plain “PIZZA” , “Hot Dogs”, or “Sandwich” ... no special names for my meals / food…
Brunch or dinner, sometimes supper depending if I feel my Southern roots.
I got this sort of not exactly Shepard’s Pie deal I call Dinner-In-A-Dish and this spicy meaty sauce concoction recipe called Dynamite that my gramma gave me.
@Anon_Jihad Sounds delishous, care to share the recipe?
@Anon_Jihad Thank you, that looks so good, I’m going to try it out.
I would like to congratulate @MarthaStewart for having a humorous first answer that does not violate the guidelines. I got a laugh out of it.
The food I cook is called “cooked food”. I like to keep things simple.
In my case, it’s usually called an abomination.
Grool OR Come and get it!
Grandpa has a dish he calls “Grandpa Roberts Surprise”...........equivalent to “grool!” ROFL!
I make cookies named Blopplebutts.
Mostly an inside joke, that no one can remember the origin of. But they’re like snickerdoodles. Only more awesomer.
Oh yes.
Aubergine becomes Spanish vegetables, good old omelets become Mexican pancakes.
As long as it is named something exotic the kids eat it.
Ma has recently become more inventive with her cooking, due no doubt to time constraints. One dish is essentially nachos ‘n cheese, with beans and sour cream and more cheese. Very tasty, easy to make, little prep time and few ingredients required. Terribly unhealthy, I suspect, but all the other stuff pretty much outweighs that as a concern.
