I honestly can’t think of anything. I’ve been buying MacBook Pros since the TiBook/PowerBook and although I would have said “the hinges” about the TiBook all those years ago, since then I’ve never had a single complaint. They really are the best computers you can buy, in my opinion.

I had an iBook g4 and I had alot of trouble playing videos. Though I tried updates but still had trouble. Maybe it was just me though I did enjoy my mac alot aside from that I had little problems with it. I think they r pricey though but you get what you pay for.

The price does suck. That’s the reason I haven’t ordered mine yet. I should have it within the next three months though. :)

I have to agree with Randy price is a little steep but i mean if it means the fact that i won’t have to worry about getting a virus every time i get on the internet it’s worth the extra $300 in my opinion. I have a mac book and a iPhone and i love them both. I’m new to the Apple product name (besides my iPod) but as far as customer support goes; i believe it’s the best I’ve ever experienced THEY SPOKE PLAIN ENGLISH! I would personally recommend an Apple MacBook or iPhone to anybody.

(P.S.) Also you know how you think things should work on a computer well thats exactly how it works on OS X it just takes a little getting used to if you are a longtime Microsoft user.

Apple designs almost flawless software (OS X, Final Cut Pro, etc, etc) but the laptop hardware often has strange issues. (e.g. iBook logic board, the MacBook “oven”). Often such problems arise from poor quality materials and parts. Also, why is it so expensive to replace the battery on iPods? I think the answer lies in the fact that Apple’s profit depends heavily on the so-called “planned obsolescence.” The company doesn’t encourage upgrades to existing hardware but throwing it in the trash heap and buying another one. I’m still an apple fan because I love the aesthetics and attention to detail, but What A Waste.
