what part of Pittsburgh?I have family that live in the area. My wifes folks live in Washington, and her aunt and brother live in the Irwin area.
I am the most attractive thing in town.
West Virginia has no tourist attractions (unless you want to count Mothman).
I live about 25–30 minutes from downtown Denver, Invesco Field (the Broncos), Coors Field and all the other sports stadiums. I also live a half hour from the place they shot Real World: Denver.
I live in Boston. There are lots of tourist attractions here. I live about a mile or two from downtown
About 8 miles from the Wallace Monument in Stirling, Dedicated to William Wallace, and maybe 7 miles from Stirling Castle, they are about the most famous tourist attractions around here, mind you, I’m also only 3 miles from Bannockburn and 12 miles to The FAlkirk Wheel. Lots to do round here!
I live in a medium sized Midwestern town that really isn’t big on tourism. So you would have to drive to the nearest large city to find any real tourist attractions. That’s about 20 miles.
I live in a small town of 3000. Our biggest attraction is Spook Hollow. It’s a half mile from my house to the woods.
I grew up in Vegas. A mile from the strip and right next to the airport. My friends and I would hang out at the airport when we were bored and make fun of the tourists. :P
I live in a large city but it’s certainly not a touristy place. It’s 15 minutes to the zoo and 20 minutes to the cultural part of downtown.
About ten minutes. For some reason, people like coming to our beach in the summer.
@jonsblond The spook hollow sounds fun. I bet the kids love it.

@galileogirl Oh, I miss The City. I used to live on the corner of Filmore and O’Farrell in 1968. It’s all been urban renewed now.
@galileogirl
I love the Bay Area.If I could afford it i’d live there.Get Raider and shark season tickets and go hang out in monterrey on weekends.
I live 7 miles from David Crockett State Park and about 10 miles from the Amish Country shops and visitor center in Lawrence County TN.
1–2 miles. It’s called Arbor Lodge—look it up!
I’m not sure how many miles everything is from everything, but I’m not that close to any of the major attractions. I’m in a quiet part of the city. It’s nice. :)
(The city in question is the same one @galileogirl mentioned).

What’s L.A.‘s most popular tourist attraction? If it’s Hollywood, well, I live in North Hollywood, so it’s about 10–15 miles away.
Griffith Park Observatory! LAMOCA! Museum of Natural History! (Actually, everything in Centennial Park – the rose garden, the art museum, the science museum…)
Okay, then I’m about the same distance away from Griffith.
35 or so miles from Miracle Mile.
Way too far from Disneyland.
