How does Fluther's popularity compare to a social networking site like Facebook?

I ask this because every time people are like oh do you have a facebook I tell them no but I have an account on fluther. Then they ask whats fluther?

I don’t think it is i mean i dont have a facebook but i know about it. i was actually searching google and i found fluther i didnt know it existed but its a great website and i wish they would come out with alot more advertisements.
