How to unlock my Grundig SE 7270 TV?

I noticed there are service manuals available on line (as opposed to user manuals) One was for sale as a PDF download for $15, one for $10. I used the search term “Grundig SE 7170 manual”

does the tv have any buttons on it or you try only via the remote?

no reset button or something like that on TV, just volume and program up/down button

any of these codes helped? if not come again

another solution:
Place set in to protect by entering any sequence of numbers 3 times,
Connect a 390ohm resistor between w129 (ground) and pin 56 of the micro,
Press button 7 on the remote for a minimum of 6 secs.
And thats it unlocked.
Sorry its not a simple fix.

another solution that work on older grundig models:
Try the following:
Arrow right
Arrow left
Arrow down
Arrow up
Press ok button

If this doesn’t work, try the code 7038 and press ok button.

I have tried the last one, did not work, but after that I unplugged. I plugged again later a bit and I get back the menu :) Thank you so much! :))))
