How can I find a real hermaphrodite for interviewing purposes? I am very curious to know if this is a myth/real, and what it's like with looking for someone as a lifelong partner.

it’s real, I don’t know where to get in contact with these people, but, try searching google, they may have support groups or other such things in which you’d be able to find some.

You could also read Middlesex as a prep.

Also, the term hermaphrodite is not generally used by the communities/individuals you are talking about. I’ve only ever heard of one person out of all the trans/inter-sex folks I’ve known/met/heard about who used that term to describe themselves. Try googling “intersex” and “transgender” to learn more.
