Is there a song that you can listen to at any point of your life, and feel a little better? I have a couple, but the one that comes to mind is “The best is yet to come”

Your Smiling Face by James Taylor
reminds me of the girl with the heart-breakingly beautiful smile.
whom I met in 1977 and married in 1983.
and who is sitting next to me on the loveseat.
SRM
There are many I could name, but right now I would say Baba O’Riley
Caring is Creepy
Starlight
Map of the Problematique
True Player for Real :D
Pork and Beans
like a stone by audioslave, it reminds me of very good times; i also find it relaxing, like the biggest valium in the world…
I love to dance to this when I’m feeling a little blue.
And I love to sing this
Let it Be, John Lennon
I’ll Stand By You, The Pretenders
Into the Mystic, Van Morrison
All three put me in a “hopeful” feeling when I’m down.
Little lies- Fleetwood Mac
I just love it : )
There are so many. And, being all about Rock n Roll, I have a hard time admitting it but…
Wanna Be Starting Something – Michael Jackson
Gets me moving every time.
This one always comforts me.
I must have a hundred of them, but here lately it’s been, “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas
“Here Comes The Sun” by George Harrison
“Feeling Good” – Nina Simone
Someone said it already but I’m with Here Comes the Sun too.
No particular song comes to mind, but I anything with a good dancing rythm to it will instantly make me want to dance and then I’m in a way better mood. Fast paced latin music will usually do it.
Or really romantic love songs. Then I miss my hubby till he comes home from work.
“The Mary Ellen Carter” by Stan Rogers “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT-aEcPgkuA”
The video includes a short intro by Robert Cusick, First Mate and sole survivor of the sunken vessel Marine Electric who credits his survival to this song, followed by a live performance by singer-songwriter Stan Rogers (RIP)
