I recently saw a video on racism that included a story about a black man whose best friend is a known leader of the KKK. The KKK member even made the black man his child’s godfather. How could such contradictory people be such good friends? Have you come across any similarly strange friendships?

True story, bro
Being in the Media for so long.
Nothing is strange.
I heard about this woman who got raped and thought it was one man, when it was really the other; and the woman and the first man became friends.
That’s an interesting example you gave in your question. I haven’t seen anything quite that extreme but I have seen a couple of unlikely friendships form and each time the friends had the same thing in common – a mutual enemy.
This year I became friends with a republican. Very weird.
It’s not just a friendship, it’s a marriage, but I always thought this match up was kind of interesting. Mary Matalin and James Carville. It’s the only one I can think of off the top of my head. I imagine there have been many friendships, relationships between people, people who don’t seem like they should have any reason to be friends over the years, in all sorts of places.
Right-Wing Lou Dobbs with his racist BS ,,,,He’s married to a Hispanic woman ????
I don’t know…Conservatives are against abortion but for the death penalty, and liberals are pro choice but against the death penalty…generalizing and leaving out much fodder for debate here, but it just goes to show that no matter the colours of the rainbow, it all leads to the same damn place.
Our 120-pound American Bulldog and her 15-pound cat. They like to sleep together.
At a local place called “Cat tails”. It is a rescue place for lions, tigers, etc. There is a huge lion who lives with a chow dog. They have been best friends since the dog was born and live in a cage together. There is also a cat that lives with a big flippin lynx. Too cool.
This is true I was the little boy in the song The Mighty Quinn I lived with Quinn at the ink wells in Lagunitas Marin County and Quinn told me I was the lil boy that would someday jump for Joy.
