How do I get my google book into google reader?

Is it possible to get my google book into my google reader?

It looks to me like it’s not possible to put a book from books.google.com into your google reader, or to put a search result from books.google.com into the reader.

What, in general, are you trying to do? That is, what problem are you trying to solve?
