Do you wear odd themed items for the holidays?
I went out today running errands and decided that today was the day for my super cool reindeer antler headband. It was great fun to wear around and entertained me quite a bit!
That made me wonder… Does anyone else have something that they wear around to entertain yourself and others for the holidays? Are you one of those people that buys the headbands, cool hats, and other random stuff meaning to wear it, but never get the nerve? Are you self-conscious when you wear something odd or do you just have fun with it?
My mother made me dress as an elf one year and go around the primary school with a Santa handing out candy canes. There are pictures. I don’t think there’s anything that could embarrass me after that.

I always wear my Christmas tie. Not very odd, but not something a lot of people do these days.
I’ve been known to wear a Santa hat. Rory has one too and he would always wear it to school on finals. :P
My mom has her Christmas-themed socks and various Christmas-themed clothing. My mom is kind of obsessed with Christmas. :)
I have countless Christmas socks and a santa hat (that keeps my head surprisingly warm in the snow).
I haven’t taken off my tacky/ugly Christmas sweater since December 13th.
DD and I have ugly Christmas sweaters we wear at home on Christmas day. DH has red & green plaid flannel PJ pants to lounge in. All 3 of us usually wear some sort of hat or headband that day too – we have a variety of Santa, reindeer, and elf headgear to choose from.
@MagsRags Doesn’t it make it feel more festive? :D
Absolutely! And grateful that we’re staying home.
I have a lot of holiday toe socks.
Sometimes I wear my pink Santa hat with rhinestones to xmas parties. This year I bought a party dress and some cute black boots to wear. Nothing too crazy.
