When "your question needs editing" is that usually a sign that you're never going to see it again?
My experience is it’s not worth editing questions if they get pulled over by the Fluther police. They’re probably not going to make it back alive.
Does anyone else automatically abandon the question without editing it?

Only if I post a stupid question. Otherwise I just reedit.
No. I get questions pulled all of the time and as long as I make a legitimate attempt to edit it, the question usually goes back up.
I’ve only had two questions pulled.
One I abandoned and the other I edited. The one I edited and turned back in, I never saw again.
I was a sad panda.
Every single question I’ve ever had pulled for editing, I’ve edited, usually takes less than 2 minutes, and they all stayed up, it’s just a matter of listening to what the mods are telling you about why they pulled it.
no problem, usually something stupid I missed, then it’s usually back up right away.
yay another mod question
I had one sent back to me- then I realized it wasn’t a good type of question for Fluther so I abandoned it.
I always fix them as requested, and they go back up, except the time I inadvertently asked a duplicate question.
I’ve had asked a few questions that were either duplicates or obscure. Each time, upon personal reflection, I decided it was better to abandon the question.
Well one of mine was pulled, but after editing it, it was re posted. Granted the intent of the question had to change a little, but not by too much.
So it’s not always doomed to die, if you don’t mind altering it, I will however, say that, while I’m totally willing to follow the rules and all, it does get a little annoying, but it’s really no biggy in the end.
Yarrr—- just fix ye question and get it back on the queue. =)
Many questions that should be being pulled for editing haven’t been, IMHO.
If you refuse to compromise the quesion’s original spirit, yes.
@janbb Agreed, I’m far more irked at my questions being pulled for being statements when I see so many others that obviously are.
It feels to me that there’s a political oriented double standard.
I got my first Question Needs Editing this morning. Because I misspelled the word ‘protocol’ about 5 times. It was back up within an hour of my editing it.
