In terms of banned substances for sports etc.

No. It isn’t nearly as tasty.
Seriously, I think this might answer your question..
I don’t think so…. The Hair Folicle test is THE best as the items stay in the hair longer than in urine or blood…. as drugs etc will remain in the hair for over six months.
Then; would be the Blood test… and the Urine test comes in 3rd…...
That is how I understand it to be…
Impossible to answer. Good for what, is the undefined variable.
New York-based athletic physician, Dr. Keith Pyne, a private injury consultant for NFL athletes and those who participate in running and combat sports, told AOL Fanhouse,
“I have more than 800 guys who are special athletes who are all drug-tested. And the urine testing is sufficient that you won’t miss anything, especially with performance-enhancing drugs. So, yes, I believe that the urine testing is more than sufficient. If you’re using steroids, it’s going to come up for sure in urine. There’s no way it’s going to get through the liver and the kidney without being detected.”
Yup, Sprinter Ben Johnson has been sent home from the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games in disgrace When Ben Johnson’s urine were tested for drugs and find out that traces of the anabolic steroid, Stanozol, had been detected.
