Thank you, and a Merry Christmas to you also. Mine will be anything but merry for reasons I’ll not go into on a public site.
The vast majority of the relationship breakups I’ve had have happened within a few weeks of Thanksgiving (end of November). Those years, Christmas sucked. (I only celebrate it in the “eat fattening foods and hang out with the family” kind of way, not the Churchy way, but when you were supposed to hang out with his family instead, every second that you re-become aware of where you are is another kick in the gut.)
