Why do you think it has been acceptable in the past for the public to accuse the President of showing favoritism toward his own race ?

This is how it was told to me by a well know black religious leader that is close to the president.

The black community gave Obama a pass on pushing the black issues. Sort of a secret memo. Because if he did go that direction he would not have made it into office.

So if what you are saying is true. I am guessing people are waiting for the shoe to drop.
It wont, because he is in now.

When has it ever been acceptable for any president to favor people based on race?
Can you give examples of past Presidents’ favoritism or Obama’s favoritism?

I see no signs that the president is inclined to favor one race over another as much as I see him as an ideologue that is bent upon implementing a system of wealth redistribution and a lowering of the standard of living for the middle class in America.

The only people he seems to favor is anyone who is not an American. If you are a European, or a Marxist/Socialist dictator, he’s your man. If you need someone to apologize for America’s history, call him up. If you are looking for someone to back down from those who would do evil to us and our allies…reach out to Barry Otero.

@MagsRags I stand by my answers. I have said nothing relating to his race or the color of his skin. But I am sure that is a quick and convenient card for people to play. “If you disagree with him on anything, it has to be because he is black, so you are a racist.”

@Fluthermucker You seem to have problems with logic in your own answer above. Paragraph#1 Obama is “bent upon implementing a system of wealth redistribution” presumably from the upper to the lower class.

Paragraph#2 “The only people he seems to favor is anyone who is not an American”. I mean, he clearly is favoring some Americans in paragraph #1, but suddenly he wants to weaken the USA?

@shilolo Believe it or not but wealth redistribution may not mean that it goes from Americans to Americans. Think Copenhagen.

It would be helpful if you could give some specific instances of both things. Even anecdotal evidence would be better than nothing. If I had some of that, I would feel like I actually have something to respond to.
From what I’ve seen, Obama’s “favoritism” toward his own race does not seem any different than any other president. Indeed, since Obama relates more to his own race, the many retards of America probably see that as him favoring his own race. It’s likely that since he is the first non-white president, his perspective on race is different from all past presidents, and as all Americans know, anything different is evil.

The irony is that the worst and most incompetent president in US history, GHWB, aggressively enacted policies to “redistribute” wealth from the lower-middle class to the upper class including massive tax cuts (in the face of two wars), capital gains tax cuts, estate tax elimination, and many more. Not that the shoe is on the other foot, we hear the Republicans bitch and moan. Surprise, surprise.

I see. I point out logical inconsistencies. You backtrack. I point out historical inconsistencies, and you have no answer. Meanwhile, GHWB caused oil prices to skyrocket, padding the pockets of Saudi Arabians at the expense of the American taxpayer. My wealth was redistributed to people who hate my way of life. Yet somehow, that was ok? Get a grip on reality, and learn some basic economics and history.

Can you please support your assertions? I don’t think I’ve seen any evidence of a president showing favoritism towards one race or another in my lifetime.

I think Obama favors equal opportunities.
