Anyone here have or know someone who has hemophilia?

No, but I believe that they should be entitled to the same rights as straight people.

One of my teachers in med school (Histology lab) had hemophilia. It was not fun for the guy. Having to have factor VIII handy, Vit K, and a bunch of precautions… came close to dying on more than one occasion. not cool. It is a life lead in constant vigil.

Yes. Gilbert Saidy. he finally died some years ago. What is it like. You can’t play with the other kids. No contact sports. even bumping and bruising can be deathly serious.

But you can live with it and enjoy life. It is all about attitude.

One of my classmates in Machine Shop was. We figured it was dangerous (if not a little stupid) for him to be there with the sharp tools and all, but he managed just fine.
