My son. He’s the tallest person I know personally.
It would have to be my mom. She is a strong woman who was (and is) and excellent mother and also very accomplished in her career. Even though I am 43 and doing ok myself, I still turn to her for advice because I know she will be honest and sincere with me, even if she tells me what I don’t want to hear.
@Carbonproduct that made me laugh :)
I knew this wonderful girl who was 14 when she was killed in a car accident.
I was 9 at the time and she always played with me and my friends. Now as a girl her age, I am even more amazed at how she could play with us. I always have the memory of playing with Hannah a few days before she was killed and how I want to make that difference in other girl’s lives. So in a way, I turn to her often and she was a mentor to me. That night, December 9, 2005, changed my life forever, though I didn’t really think about it for 3 whole years. Now I want to have a big part in a bible camp when I get older, and if possible, I want to adopt kids or at least do foster care after my own are grown.
@ChocolateReigns I have to tip my hat to you. Even with something so tragic, you want to turn it around and do good in the world. I wish there were more people like you that could help lead and mold our young children. Have you thought about helping out with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program?
@ChocolatReigns You sound like a very special lady. ;)
No ONE anymore…. used to be my mother for the success that she made out of her life with only a 9th grade education… parlayed herself in a net worth of over $500,000 when she passed away .. with $155,00 of that in cash…
My dad. He’s been gone for 26 years, and I am older than he was when he passed. I still think about him every day, and try to be like him, and hope he would be happy with me.
My mom. The woman has been through so much and still managed to raise 2 kids that love her and spend as much time with her as possible. A world class physician, cultured, funny, outgoing, a great dancer, a loving friend and a great example to follow in all aspects of life. My hero.
My best friend. He is such a good person; I don’t know why he bothers with me. He makes me want to be a good person too. I don’t turn to him often, but I know he is always there for me. I have no mentor – kind of had one in college, but we weren’t quite that close.
wow, good question. my mentor and bestfriend was a girl I met about 12 years ago. we were best friends instantly, she was a liitle older and a lot wiser than I. she helped me so much with her advice, many times she took the role of mother and sister. when i needed her she was always there for me, never once did she ever let me down.on november 21, 2009 she passed away. i miss her so much but im also very thankful that i had her in my life. she was a gift to me from god, she saved my life just by being there because i was very depressed when i was younger. i miss her so much and i love her, she will always be my bestfriend…
My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I strive to be more like him ever day. Yet i fail. But I pick my self up again and strive some more.
No one any more. All the people whose advice I respect are gone now.
I guess at the moment, my boss. She is a very strong and gorgeous woman.
@Shemarq I have but right now I’m too young…I’m only 13. It stinks.
@LTaylor How could I have forgotten that part! I’m a Christian to and I’m trying very hard to be a godly woman.
