Do you believe this could happen w/ out people knowing: feral chidren, kidnappings?
I’m providing a link. Do you agree that a person couldn’t hide these (and kidnappings)? Someone knows something, for motivations only they may know. I trust someone to rein me in for emotionalism or conspirator theory. I give to one of their caregivers, but cannot afford it now. Can you consider that person a coward, the one who knows?

I think that if the child was kept indoors, it is quite possible that they could be kept from anyone’s knowledge.
A better question in my mind is why would someone do something like this to a child when there are agencies that you could abandon the child to if you did not ant to care for him or her.
I suspect that they happen because nobody knows. If someone were aware of it, they’d probably take some kind of action.
Sometimes people get suspicious and do report, but the authorities never follow up or whatever…
Yes, they are true, and it is because the agencies we pay to protect children are not sufficiently funded to follow up on the information they receive. Taxpayers do not want to pay enough to keep this from happening, combined with the fact that way too much tax money is wasted and there is not enough oversight.
If the system worked properly, none of this would happen, but the system needs a lot of work to prevent the abuses.
@YARNLADY Combined with the lawsuits filed by the parents who have abused their children, yet have to money to hire an attorney. IE Buy “justice”
