I usually use Firefox but currently experiencing problems with it on my computer. I hate Internet Explorer. I need suggestions on other safe and user friendly browsers. Thanks so much!

You could try Opera or Flock !
Disable all your extensions and themes. See if that helps. If it does, slowly add them back until you find the one causing the problem.
If that doesn’t work you could delete your profile.
Thanks guys! @johnpowell I’m not sure what is wrong with my Firefox. It just stopped opening up the other day. Not sure how to go about fixing it, so I thought I’d try something else. I have a pc.
For PC, I second Google Chrome. By far the best browser available. Won’t take up too much memory, less bulky than Firefox.
Opera.
Personally I don’t see what the big deal is with Firefox.
Opera is pretty good – I use firefox myself, but they are much of a muchness really, in looks at least.
I agree….IE is trash. I’m also on Firefox & have never had any problems with it since I made the switch. I know nothing about the other browsers. I hope you get it worked out.
Have you tried cleaning the cache? Advanced Options—- Network.
@pdworkin No, I haven’t. I’ll try it and see what happens. Thanks!
I use Safari and Chrome, depends on my mood.
I love Chrome. It works amazingly.
It really depends on what you want. If your goal is for something that’s quick and easy to use, Chrome works great. If you’re like me and want something with more features and better browser control, Opera is a great choice.
I LOVE Opera! its the fastest on PC’s next to chrome. i’ve herd it is noticeably slower on Macs though.
I use Firefox, but I have had good luck with both Chrome and Safari.
Chrome is decent enough.
I have yet to get Safari to run though; it crashes, hangs, and otherwise fails to launch.
Opera is supposed to be quite decent, but I’ve never used it…never had problems with Firefox, but it may occur if you’re using an older version.
FWIW I use Chrome—also easier to access Google docs and calendar and all that other useful stuff.

You can certainly try out Google Chrome or any of the alternative browsers which are Chromium- based. It depends on what you need from a browser in general. If you download a lot – go for Citrio browser, if privacy issues are most important for you – go for Tor, if you are into media and social networks a lot – Torch will do.
