How hard is it to do an open mic show?

Wait a second… open mic with you on electric guitar (always easier to please a crowd with) and an opera singer!? Sounds fantastic! You got me already. I’m not sure about this ‘middle of the road’ stuff… but that’s me. Try giving an operatic interpretation to ‘anthem’ rock n roll covers. Treat your art with a deserved seriousness. How about an old dylan hit ‘forever young’? The high you get when an appreciative audience shows love is very addictive! Please post on you tube, so we flutherers get a chance to see.

Hi Steve…just thought I’d let you know that I’m a little tangled up today with building marble race runners for my boy…amongst other things…but I will get back to you later today…

@Tomfafa I did actually do an operatic sample on a techno dance track years ago which sounded pretty good… opera mixes quite well will some genres and I do think it would work with some of Steve’s music… it’s pretty cool!

@Steve_A When you say open mic show…what do you mean exactly… you want to go to one…or set one up..?

Open mic nights are generally very laid back and easy to do. Usually you just bring your guitar. Find a place online and call them up to see what you need, just get started now! It is a great experience to try out:)
