Where are good organic healthy pcc type food stores in NYC?

Are you looking just for grocery stores or organic healthy restaurants too? For grocery stores, Fairway is great, Whole Foods has lots of stuff but is pretty pricey…There is a store farther uptown on 91st and Broadway called Barzinis that is smaller than Fairway but has similar products – lots of produce and lots of gourmet items.
