It’s almost 2010, and everyone’s talking about their resolutions, the things they’re looking forward to accomplishing in the new year. What about the resolutions of last year? What personal challenges are you glad to have resolved and left behind with 2009?
Example, I was evicted in January. That sucked. But hey, new year! Time to put that unpleasantness in a box and shove it under the bed with all the rest of my shitty memories.

I have a hard time putting things behind me. I’m still carrying things from when I was 8 years old.
Some disappointments and hard-knocked life lessons although happy to learn from them Welcoming a new year and a new decade, embracing new beginnings with open arms. Peace to all.
The weight I lost.2009 can keep it
2009 stood me up metaphorically speaking. Have no idea if 2010 will be the same.
Not starting out with much hope for anything different.
Binge drinking, anorexia and lingering PTSD symptoms that I’ve finally sorted out.
I really really hope 2010 has more cookies.
That sorry sack of &#% of my ex-
I quit smoking 15 weeks ago after 25 years and I am happily leaving that nasty habit behind with 09!
I guess I am happy about leaving Answerbag in 2009.
I never make resolutions.
ooh evicted, ouch..but hey new year! Time to put that unpleasantness in a box and shove it under the bed with all the rest of my shitty memories. ((TOTALLY AGREE))
2009 has been one of the worst years of my life. I’ll just be glad to see the whole thing go!
Yes, Because it means God has blessed me with another year.
2009 was a bad year money-wise. A pay cut at work, adult children moving back home, some loan payments that drasticlly increased all made it a difficult year. As of now it looks like we have turned a corner and finally found some breathing room. 2010 is looking like it will be a better year.
I do not like change . I appreciate what I have. I hope my families life will remain the same or a little better. Stability is top priority .
The past. Onward & upward.
I have to agree with the binge drinking. If I stopped drinking so much, I could afford to buy a new pair of jeans every two weeks….and if I stopped drinking so much, they will probably be a smaller size jeans…eventually…
As I get older, I hate feeling time passing faster and faster. So no, I’m sorry to see another year go by.
Hopefully, I will leave unemployment in 2009 and go back to work! Fingers crossed for 2010!
The Mormon Church!
I’ll try to leave quietly, but I have a feeling that that won’t be easy.
