Starting pay/salary for office assistant in D.C.

Need some help here. I applied for this office assistant job, they want to know what my salary requirements are. Some info, its entry level I have a degree, but only a few months experiance in an office. I’m not sure what to ask for in d.c. do any of you jellys have any more insight to this.

According to this site, the average salary is $42,000.

This site says $49.000.

For entry level, you would go somewhat lower.
