As another year draws to a close, yeah bare with me. Do you approach 2010 with renewed vigour or apathy?

Does a new year mean a new you or is it just a date like any other?

It’s a new me, this past decade has been nothing but bad for me, and a new change in me will be good. I’m just going to reach all the goals i never could before, and improve my disabilities. And maybe a makeover, i dont look bad but i could use a haircut :)
For me, a touch of both, It’s another date as usual but as with all new years, trying to think positively about what’s coming. Dont know if that would be apathetic vigour?
I don’t think you really want me to bare.
@pdworkin no, no, it’s “bare with me” – you’d both be bare. Now that’s a party!
@pdworkin Oh you. Come along we both know what I meant. Humour me, I just got to know.
@syz Perish the thought !
Ok!And I’ll wear a nun’s habit!who stole your name??
Never mind not important. I think we got our wires crossed.
@Ucme-That’s quite alright:)I just looked at your profile…is that a Border Collie puppy??Very cute!
Vigor, but with a certain amount of resignation about 2009. It’s a year I’m glad to just write off- a bunch of stuff happened and not much of it was great and now its over and I can have a clean break with it and start fresh and positive.
@ Yeah she’s called Penny & in common with me she is very cute, adorable & loving the attention. Unlike me she’s wagging her tail in approvement at the moment.
Nothing changes on News Day but it makes me feel nervous.
Time seems to pass too quickly.
People can’t wait for tomorrow . I am busy appreciating here and now . I am grateful for my family ; and a few friends .
Just because it is the end of another year, does not seem like a good reason to take off our clothes. (Or did you mean bear with you?)
@ucme-A friend of mine used to raise them.They are beautiful, intense,smarty pants!I have a German Shepherd that does my taxes ;)
@ucme-Or does she just have ticks??lol!
I like to do things vigorously.
@Facade -that’s the best way!
@ucme-Actually ticks freak me out!I had one land on my leg while I was horsebackriding.They can jump!I’ve had experiences with leeches too!They suck!!
@ucme; If it weren’t 25˚ F and snowing, I’d have my clothes off in an instant.
Always positive about the next minute, hour, day, month, or year! That is what keeps us going!
<===Now has a mental image of Gail frolicking in the snow – in her birthday suit.
@XOIIO Try a supository or any type of laxative should do the trick.
@syz At least she’d have somewhere to hang her hat & room for a coat too.
@ucme-Yes,that horse was an amazng specimen!lol!
If I bare it shall be with vigor because I shall be hopping around, shivering, and trying to keep from freezing. It is fucking cold out there.
As far as whether or not I look forward to the new year, it is just another day.
@Arisztid -I believe we’re not too far from each other…get yourself a good hat! Happy New Year :)
I got both barrels blazing for 2010. Big plans for a few really great opportunities. Things to do people to see! Adios 2009 you were good but 2010 will be unreal!! Yee HA!!
With renewed vigour, which is kind of unusual for me. I’m also facing it with some trepidation, because I have some difficult decisions to make in the next month or two.
I agree time seems to fly by. I have some hopes for the next decade…....
Vigor, definitely. I’m happy and excited like I’ve not been in near a decade.
