Ps3 and Sony DRC-MF Trinitron WEGA television connection problem!

i just connect the three color cables (red,white,yellow) but it doesn’t work it has sound but no picture!!!!!!!! someone help please

check that you are using a video input not a componet input, then reset the ps3 by holding the power button down for 2 beeps – video will reset to lower level
