Is there something fun to do in the L.A. area for New Year's eve?

I was there for a few days over the summer; isn’t as expansive or sprawling as NYC, but there’s gotta be somethin’ happening over there. Good luck.

@Grisaille – I beg to differ. LA covers 498.3 square miles, NYC is 304.8 square miles. It gets up to 468.9 square miles if you include all of the water.

It’s kind of late for this answer but if you find yourself in L.A. next New Year’s, well, your in L.A. for God’s sake! There have to be hundreds of things to do there on New Year’s Eve! The hard part is choosing just one. So start now and you’ll be all set for this next New Year’s.
