What exactly does the Beginning of a New Year mean to you?

Resigned.

Annoyed.
Just by force of habit I’ll still be writing xx/yy/09 for the first 3 or 4 months of the year, and then erasing it angrily remembering “It’s not 09 any more, jerk!”

It will be 2010 tomorrow.

I see it as just another day

It means I am getting older. My birthday is Jan 3.

Happy Both!

It’s that much closer to spring.

It used to mean more when I was much younger and hadn’t seen nearly as many years change over.

The transition from December to January hold no special meaning to me.

Nothing.

It means it is the first day of the new year.

A chance to change oneself and embark on a new adventure.
