What is the procedure to use a thumb drive as extra RAM in Windows Vista?

I don’t know to much about this but my boss does it and he says it works great I think you need a thumb drive that has boost capabilities. Not every thumb drive works. Does anyone know if you can do this with a mac as well?
You can’t do it with a mac. You should be able to find it easily in “my computer”. Its probably in a right click menu. I do know you can select it in the pop-up after you plug it in.
