Would the Fluther system please enable the asker to see the question comments if it's pushed back to editing?
Oftentimes, questions that are pushed back to editing are deemed unworthy of the attempt by the submitter and therefore abandoned.
But plenty of us and I wish to see what the comments were to that question before we abandon it. Because without being able to see the comments, we’ll miss out on what was said before it was pushed back.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could please have that?

It would be interesting to see what the public thought of the “arrested” question. I think the reasoning behind it is, comments distract one from focusing on editing (or deleting) the “questionable” question. Also, there’s not much point to keeping the comments for any amount of time since most pulled questions get deleted anyway.
Still your idea would make an interesting test run…
@ninjacolin Hear, hear!
If I think I need to abandon the question, but the comments were so danged worthwhile that I know they’ll be useful later, I would copy-&-paste them onto an MS Word file.
It’s late/early here so forgive me if I sound confused- because I am.
So if you want the answers why not fix the question? Or if it’s to someone else’s question why not write it into a new question (in a better way that hopefully doesn’t get modded)?
@EgaoNoGenki , please, please, stop trying to change fluther. This newest wave of immigrants is settling in here, learning Fluther’s ways, and fitting in. As a member of the newest wave of immigrants, I ask you to please stop. After you have been here awhile and are no longer considered with this new wave, maybe then make suggestions.
That being said, I agree with @gemiwing. You do not have to abandon a question unless it is something that would never have made it here in the first place.
I agree. I once changed a question completely, and it got pulled a second time because the answers that were already given would not make any sense in that context….and hail. I never even saw what the answers were!
