I would love to travel all around the world. What do I need? How long will it take by car? Bike? Foot?

I leave in Europe so I thought I could cross the Beiring Strech when it froze to get to the American continent but does anyone know for sure what season that happen?

They did it on motor bikes but ended up flying from Russia or China to Alaska.

there is a BUS (yes bus tour) travelling from London, england to Darwin, australia in april 2009 unfortunately this years trip is fuly booked.
