What are some of the awards for music, television, theatre, film, etc?

You pretty much listed the major ones so I don’t know how many more you’re expecting or why. I find most of them boring, except for the highlights, which end up on the news sites the next day anyhow.

The only other ones I can think of not on your list are The Peoples’ Choice Awards ( which were just broadcast a few days ago.

Then there’s the only one I may watch cuz they’ve done some hilarious parodies in the past. That’s the MTV Movie Awards.

Much more entertaining than the Oscars by far.

Some are from Hollywood Critics, some are film critics not in Hollywood (the Foreign Press). Some are from Unions (The Oscars), some are from the Directors Union. It all varies.
My favorites are the Razzies, for worst movies/performances of the year.

There’s the Obies in NYC for Off-Broadway plays. The Sarah Siddons in Chicago for dramatic plays (look that one up to see where it comes from!).The Junos in Canada for film, the BAFTAS in the UK for film and television, The Cesar for film in France. The Palme D’Or for The Cannes Film Festival and the Screen Actors Guild Awards for actors in the union. There’s the Peabody for sustained excellence in American television. And the various Sundance jury prize awards for so-called “indie” films.

Those are the ones I know off the top of my head. I’m sure there’s a zillion of ‘em.

Canada has the Genies (film), the Geminis (TV) the Junos (music) and the Beaver aka Canadian Comedy Award (comedy).
