The Illuminati are a fun little image to make believe that someone is in control and we are helpless. The truth is scarier. No one is in control, and we are mostly helpless.

Sadly, the world is controlled (at present,but not for much longer) by an alliance of mediocrities. Nervously shuffling about, pretending that they know what they are doing. Yes you! But they are increasingly, backing themselves into a corner. And wondering how they are going to get out of it.
Fortunately, the exceptional will come to the rescue.
And will be welcomed by all.
Because they will not be looking to apportion blame (that would be mediocre or worse)
They (the exceptional) will just want to sort things out.
For the benefit of all.
And will do so.

@Hypocrisy_Central By exceptional I simply mean those who are freethinking and truth loving. Those who don’t follow the herd or party line against their own convictions. The types who tend to get marginalised in politics and business. Usually by groupings of less adequate individuals. A group of self serving mediocre individuals usually carries more sway than one exceptional individual.
@nisse I haven’t as it happens, but I think that I might like to. Could you direct me to any relevant writings of hers?

@lloydbird I think you’ll find “Atlas shrugged” to be perfectly in line with your philosophy, as well as an entertaining and interesting read (albeit a tad long).
