If tomorrow you'll reborn into animal/pet form,what kind of animal and who should own you?.

Asked by Your_Majesty (8238points) January 9th, 2010

Sometime people feel so envy and curious about their pet/other creature’s life and might hope to be like them someday,let just say if miracle will happen to your life tomorrow and you can freely turn in to your favorite creature,do anything you want and no body will know that’s you (this question is not only for those who believe in reincarnation).

I want to be reborn as a small, fluffy white puppy into a household that will spoil and pamper me. :-)

No, sirree, I’m not describing my own dog at all. No way.

A Basset Hound (which isn’t much of a stretch).

And my wife should own me. She’s not much of a dog person, but I’d hate to live with anyone else.

Make me a cat (a big one would be nice) so I can wander and roam as I see fit or sleep for 16 hours a day if I so choose, and always maintain a unwavering sense of superiority that is not only expected but treated as cute, and it doesn’t hurt that women are always flocking to me, oooing and ahhhing over me and stroking me till I purr (I’m just sayin’). Then send me in my new cat form to someone like myself because sometimes I swear the cat gets better treatment and more consideration than I do!

Owl's avatar

Why, a wild owl, of course!

Cat. I wouldn’t need a partner. Grooming my own bits would take care of that. ;-)

I kid

lvrgrl6519's avatar

A cat. And I would want my boyfriend to take care of me. He loves cats and treats them like royalty.

marinelife's avatar

I would like to be a deer and go where I want. I would not like to be owned by anyone.

Bluefreedom's avatar

Definitely a tiger, much like this one right here. As far as who should own me? No one. I’d like to forgo being in a zoo or a circus or being owned by a couple of magicians in Las Vegas. Just leave me be and let me enjoy the thrills (and eventually dangers) of being in the wild.

cookieman's avatar

@Marina: Doe, a deer; a female deer…
@Bluefreedom: Cue Survivor…

Michael_Huntington's avatar

A bear
And my owner would be a cop so he can train me to be a crime fighting bear!

stranger_in_a_strange_land's avatar

A Persian cat, with me as caregiver.

filmfann's avatar

@Mike_Hunt That’s what CSI needs, is a crime fighting bear!

I would love to be something that flies. An eagle or a goose.
If I had to be a pet, maybe a Penguin in a zoo.

barbiedoll's avatar

A cheetah and no one would own me. I like the crylines.

scotsbloke's avatar

Definately gotta be a small lapdog owned by the girls of the playboy mansion.
(we are talking fantasy right?)

LC_Beta's avatar

@wonderingwhy said exactly what I wanted to say :)

Russell_D_SpacePoet's avatar

I would want to be reborn as a bird. Hawk or eagle. I wouldn’t need a person.

gailcalled's avatar

Milo here; I certainly would not want to come back as subservient and docile Gail.

faye's avatar

I’d be a cat as well with any of my kids taking care of me. We all love cats. My so would probably clean the litter box more often.

AstroChuck's avatar

I’d choose a Hawk or a dolphin. I we are just talking household pets than I would go with cat.

jamielynn2328's avatar

I would like to be a giant tortoise, owned by the ocean.

AceSpadez's avatar

A mountain lion owned and trained by Chuck Norris

Silhouette's avatar

I’d like to come back as a dog and I’d choose my sister or Cotton101 as my owner.

Spinel's avatar

A leopard. It has climbing ability its enemies don’t. It has a beauty other animals lack. It’s not a specialized hunter, so if one type of animal gets scarce, the cat can simply sift its diet. Plus, it would be quite interesting to run around scaring cheetahs, climbing trees while watching the lions who want to terror ya apart so bad, and out there hunting on the savanna. How would own me? Myself.

Flo_Nightengale's avatar

I would love to be an Australian Terrier puppy given to a young child (old enough to know not to pull my tail) and we can grow up together!

Syger's avatar

If I suddenly disappeared I would like to be a cat owned by my girlfriend to see how she reacts and lives out her life. Plus cat food isn’t all that bad…

Or a bird, being able to fly would be pretty sweet but I wouldn’t want to eat worms :o

gailcalled's avatar

@Syger: Plenty of the small warblers and other songbirds eat seed, thistle and dried milkweed, instead of insects, worms, and grubs. Choose one with a fat, seed-cracking beak, like the chickadee. He is a cute little fellow and easy to tame.

YARNLADY's avatar

I would like to be an orangutan in the San Diego Zoo.

janbb's avatar

I’d like to be “Bo” and be owned by the Obamas.

Jack79's avatar

cat, the most independant of them all.

Your_Majesty's avatar

@YARNLADY

Orang utan? but being confined in a cage for the rest of your life?.

YARNLADY's avatar

@Doctor_D The San Diego Zoo does not put their animals in cages, but rather “semi-natural” habitats, with never a day goes by they have to wonder where their next meal is coming from and the weather is delightful. Free lifetime health care, you can’t beat it.

Spinel's avatar

@Doctor_D They don’t have to worry about leopard’s fangs or a tiger’s claws. :)

Your_Majesty's avatar

@YARNLADY I see.

@Spinel (smile) So you’ll lose your meal and go hungry tonight.

Spinel's avatar

@Doctor_D Grrrrrrr…lucky for you your a fellow cat. ;)

borderline_blonde's avatar

Well, since my kitties spend all day sleeping, eat without worrying about their weight, and can get super excited and happy over some silly mouse toy, I’m going to have to say that I want to be a cat, too. It just looks like such a difficult life :)

Ron_C's avatar

I would like to be a Labrador retriever. I would be smart, probably have a job, and wouldn’t live too long.

YoBob's avatar

Definitely a dog owned by my wife.

She takes care of our dogs better than most people take care of their kids!
