What to do at a sleepover?
Ok so it is pretty much what the name implies. What to do at a sleepover? I don’t want talk about boys, play truth or dare, and watch chick flicks! I want my sleepover to be really awesome. 2 of my friends are coming over and my brother is gonna probably join in because he gets left out easily. So far I have like a pillow fort. You see that is like a really cool idea not a lot of people would have thought of it.. And on Halloween we made a haunted ’‘house’’ in my brothers bedroom for our parents to see. You see not a lot of people would have thought of that either. And for food don’t just say order pizza. I want the food to be excactly like the games. Different. So please include the ingredients and the preparation method! Ok thanks! Oh and just so you know I don’t want to give away my age so I’m just going to say I’m not an adult yet and I’m not a little kid. I’m not 17,16,or 15. And dont just assume I’m 14. :) Also it is your basic sleepover theme. It isn’t a movie theater theme. And its not just gonna be a boring truth or dare movie party. There has to be games and all sorts of fun stuff!!

It would help if we knew how old you were by the way :)
So what’s your theme? That’s a great place to start and let’s you know what kind of food, games and activities you’ll have at your party.
buy a Wii game system, and everyone can join in
If you live in a warm climate, you can try camping out in the back yard. My son and daughter did that once and we pitched 2 large tent. Of course as it got really dark and they were ready for bed the girls came in and the boys stayed out. Turns out the girls didn’t like the hard ground and the boys had too much fun trying to spook them. They played games on the systems but once outside they had to play board games and card games. The next morning they all got treated to a huge breakfast with all the works and went home. Both had a teriffic time. Oh, for food they had McDonalds and several desserts. Chocolate cake, strawberry jelly rolls, ice cream, and spicy chips and regular chips. They had enough calories and fat and sugar in them for a month. Some kids loved it because they were not allowed to have those things at home. So we didn’t tell.
Don’t stay up too late, don’t drink any alcohol, beware of boys, .......
Oh wait, I’m talking to my kids!!
Pardon me.
Carry on with thread…
Hmmm, well one time I had a Harry Potter party and we made harry potter food, including butter beer, ‘cockroach clusters’ (chocolate covered walnuts) and ‘slugs’ (macaroni shells with green food coloring), among other interesting dishes. Maybe that gives you an idea of how creative you can get with food when you have a theme.
And easter egg hunts are always fun, even when it’s not April.
Good luck. =) I loved/love hosting off-beat parties.
Instead of ordering pizza, you could make your own pizza from scratch. You can have fun making the dough and then decorating it with toppings.
I wish you were a boy. We just sit around for around 20 hours playing Halo and Call of Duty. We will play risk and sometimes attempt to make a good video. We call them Nerd Parties, but they are usually only fun for people that are good at games.
I still like to have girls’ nights in featuring homemade spa treatments. Everyone pampers each other, and everything is so easy to make and so much fun!
You can give each other facials – I have a few recipes.
1. Strawberries and Cream facial for Oily skin – Chuck Strawberries, milk, and a little oatmeal in the blender and beat until it’s smooth. Apply to the face (avoid the eyes!) with cotton balls. Let it sit no longer than five minutes, then rinse with clear water.
2. Almond and Oatmeal scrub. (make this first, so your blender’s dry) Mix unsalted almonds and oatmeal into the blender until it’s ground fine. Dump it into a cup and mix it with a little honey or olive oil until it makes a paste. This a great exfoliant you can use on your face or all over your body.
3. Mix a few cups of epsom salts with a few drops of essential oils (you can get them at your health food store). Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, and Lavender are all good choices. (Ylang Ylang is the main scent of Chanel No. 5 perfume!)
I have more, if you’re interested. And since you have the blender out, you can mix up some awesome smoothies or mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails). Let me know if you need any more help. ^_^
Oh! I just thought of something else -
If you have a sewing machine or have any patience for hand-stitching…
try having a t-shirt surgery party!
Give everyone a t-shirt (whatever colour, doesn’t matter) in the biggest size you can. At least XL.
Get a pair of scissors, a measuring tape (tailor’s tape, not carpenter’s tape! ^_^), and some random notions (beads, buttons, ribbon, fabric glue, glitter, etc.)
Have everyone bring a shirt they like the fit of, and use that as a pattern to cut their shirt down to size. Sew up the edges (I like to sew it so the rough edges are on the outside, but you can do it any way you like!
Then decorate them however you like! Make a belt out of the excess! Make a matching purse! Go crazy! T-shirt surgery is hella fun, and everyone gets to take something home with them.
You can check out about eleventy-billion YouTube videos on T-shirt surgery (Kat Von D of Miami Ink has a super-easy one that I actually copied. I love that shirt) for more ideas.
Watch horror movies and stuff your face with ice cream, what else?
I usually substitute ice cream for booze though.
My friends and I usually spend our sleepovers staying up super late playing scary video games like Clock Tower for the PS1. I wouldn’t play anything like that on my own, but it’s fun with a group.
We also have anime marathons (you could just use your favorite TV show) and play board or card games. In the morning we usually make pancakes or something for breakfast. Usually, my sleepovers are with 4–5 other people, so everyone brings their own dish. That makes it fun – one time we had American chop suey, buffalo wings with home-made dips, Chinese dumplings and various dessert products. All in the same night.
For reference, my friends and I range from 18–22. It’s a mix of boys and girls. We’re all a bunch of nerds, though, so we play video games and drink tea instead of going out and getting wasted.
Order Chinese and all write letters to your congressmen. Last one to stay awake gets to crack the whip while the others clean the house.
