How do you know when you're in love?
how do you know when you love someone? There’s someone really special to me and no matter how hard I try or how long I stay away from him for, I can’t seem to stop thinking about him. I’ve got to the point where i’m having dreams about him (sounds stalkerish but I can’t help it) and when i’m not with him i want to be. I actualy miss him. I’ll stare out the car window and daydream about being with him and everytime I do see him or have a conversation with him, all I want to do is kiss him. Am I in love with him? I think I might be.

For me. It was I saw her, and noticed that no matter what, my heart would race. When I noticed how relaxed every time I heard her voice. How I got so happy every time my phone went off and it was her. How every day I woke up happy because I knew it wasn’t just a dream.
How I wanted to impress her with everything I did.
It sounds to me as though you are infatuated. Love is very complex, involves more people than just yourself, and takes a long time to develop.
Sounds like it could be the start and if you think you are you just might be. Time (and I don’t just mean a few weeks or months) will likely sort it out for you as lust has a notable wane and love tends to blind you to temptation. Just make sure he feels the same way before you commit yourself, bc if it’s love, once you do, there’s no going back.

i agree with @pdworkin it sounds like infatuation.
the way i judge it is as follows, would i be willing to die for this person? if the answer is no then im quite sure its not love.

I have no idea what that means, but I’m told by reliable sources that it’s always like that when you’re in love.
You are in love when it makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up.
When your day is not complete unless that someone is a part of it, and their happiness is more important than yours alone, then you are starting to love that person.
When you always want to be with that person. I felt “butterflies” when we would kiss and you can’t imagine being without that person.
