Does anyone know of an online bookclub?

there are no bookclubs near me and i would like to discuss my latest read – any suggestions?

Well I’m a member of goodreads dot com. Of course, that site is more like a facebook for readers, and doesn’t offer a lot of group discussion.

I’d be interested to see some further answers to this – I like the idea of an online book club.

i have suggestions similar to what @borderline_blonde said. i just started using readernaut.com and anobii.com. i like them both but i think readernaut has a bit of an upper hand as far as features go. shelfari.com has groups so maybe that is your best bet as far as the book club feel goes.

You might want to try BookCrossing.com. where members exchange books. They have a forum with all kinds of book related discussion.
