What can the public and US citizens do to make us more secure?
Other than taking off our shoes at the airport. I’m sure there are laws that could be, should be passed but something along the lines of Bill Mahers picture book if you know what I mean. Without putting up anti-car barriers or police our public grounds more or gathering intelligence. I know that the citizens of the last world war used to have scrap metal drives and such. Should we not allow cars to park idle in front of buildings or can we carpool?

You can only be so safe before you impair your ability to enjoy life. However as your question is legitimate, I should answer with a legitimate response.
I think that not only cutting down on firearm restrictions, but encouraging private possession of firearms will bring about a large drop in violent crime rates.
Stop being a damn pussy. Do you want to know what will kill you? The cigarette you just smoked while you crossed the street to get to Burger King. That is what will kill you.
I agree with @johnpowell that safety is not something that should be of concern.
I don’t think the US needs more laws for this, just stop pissing off other countries all the time.
@Anon_Jihad the vast majority of America’s 30,000 annual gun deaths are non-intentional (i.e. not committed in cold blood). How will promoting firearm ownership help reduce this and make the US a safer place?
@davidshoukry I’m not really sure where you get your statistics. The most recent year in which full gun death statistics in the US are available, is 2005. According to the Associated Press, 55% of all gun deaths in 2005 were suicides. That means over half were completely and entirely intentional.

~Sure it’s but only one example, but what about Kennesaw, GA?
Vote for politicians that will stop the United States from fighting wars to protect Israel. This means and honest politician that cannot be bought by money from AIPAC. Bring home our troops, and use them to protect our borders from the massive tide of illegal invasion.
@Anon_Jihad
how does covering up from a pretty real threat emasculate someone. Not to get personal, but if a guy would be idling outside of my home, I would tell him to move on. Furthermore you didn’t criticize the few that want firearms, btw I use my own “guns” and not some mechanical aid
@12_func_multi_tool I’m not sure what most of what you said actually means. Please rephrase it. Also if someone was loitering outside my house, I’d polite ask them to fuck off as well.
@UScitizen
Protecting Israel? They’ve held the line for us in that region since it’s conception, the only thing we’ve done is sell them tech arms. It might be better to question why we sold f14 tomcats to Iran when they were top of the line stuff. Then Israel has held onto the Golan heights and Gaza under pressure from pretty much everyone to return the aggressive organizations there. In the act of self preservation, I’m going to side with the underdog, never was one much for clubs. Then Israel has taken out Holocaust criminals and air strikes alone in that region to protect us. this thing we have going now is nation building and makes no sense and oil
