Yes, that is how I found fluther.
I googled “what to do with an overabundance of Cherry tomatoes”.

@mowens And even if it wasn’t, it’s still the internet, google isn’t the only way to get caught lol.

So everyone is gonna see how much I appreciate my neighbors, love my children, and how I never, ever, break the law?

i came to fluther because i googled “fleas” and variations on “flea killing” and stuff like that, 2½ years ago. so yes put in the correct terms or sentence and you should find it. why not type in your question as you wrote it into google and see what comes up?

I came to Fluther when I googled a question regarding my Religious Studies course a few months ago. Since then I try to get on this site as much as possible, this place is one of the few places not perpetrated by randoms acts of selfishness, greed, ignorance, and stupidity (ok, I admit the last one was unnecessary, we’re all stupid).

No.

I just wanted to be the sole voice of dissent.

@AstroChuck Can we Google that answer?

Why is this significant? The internet is a big place. Maybe a few people here and there might see an answer to a question, but it probably won’t be many.

Absolutely. But why does it matter?

A second cousin on my father’s side found me when her son was googling my grandfather’s now defunct umbrella frame co. We have been corresponding; I just sent her a copy of my grandfather’s autobiography and a long history (translated from the Hebrew) of the LIthuanian shtetl where he was born and raised.

It turns out that her grandmother and grandpops (b. 1871 – d. 1960) were siblings. My sister and I will get together with her when spring comes. Absolutely amazing.
